[Error: unknown template qotd]Unless it was absolutely necessary then definitely not. I'm not against people having it as long as its for the right reasons.  All the cosmetic fixits in the world won't help unless you fix what's inside first.

The moon would be interesting but lets face it. It's just dust and not much to see really although the view to earth would be good.

I'd rather have the money it would cost to send  there which I could use for something else.  Like a trip to London to see David Tennant & Catherine Tate in Much Ado about Nothing for instance lol.    The moon or David Tennnat.  Yep a girl has to have priorities.  :D

Frogs.  Very sad I know but it started when we were staying at my Grandfathers house in Bundaberg (Northern Queensland, Australia).  He had a green frog that used to live in the toilet.

I was always a bit scared but one night while we were there I could hear it jumping around and it had gone from the toilet up 3 stairs and into the kitchen.  So just a little bit more freaked out but my parents said it;s okay don't worry.  It won't come into the bedroom.

Next thing I know I got woken up with this wet thing on my face and it was the bloody frog.  I practically screamed the house down and to this day still don't know how it got up on the bed.

Now I love them but still get a bit freaked out occassionally.

Ha. Where do I start.

1.  The back landing stairs scare the hell out of me.  I don't let the kids out there because the wood is rotten.

2.  Need new solar hot water system.  Ours is about 8 years past it's use by date and every morning I think yep it's going to give up today but we're still saving for a new one.  We get fairly good rebates here in Australia but you still have to pay the whole cost up front first.

3.  My kitchen is in desperate need of a makeover.  It's lovely and spacious but it's ... well it's green.  A sickly seventies green matched with an equally stomach churning green paisley lino floor.

No definitely not.  Marriage is not a contract you enter into for two, three, ten years.  It is a commitment that one goes into believing that they will love and work towards keeping forever.

My username is actually a shortened version of one I use over at fanfiction.  The full version is emeraldeyedirishdaughter.  I had to cut it when I registered over at Teaspoon to just emeraldeyeddaughter because of the number of character restrictions and then again on lj for the same reason.  I am an Aussie but chose my original  user name because I am fascinated by Ireland and all things Irish.  I have yet to visit there but my ancestery is mostly irish and has some wonderful stories in it.  The emerald eyed bit of course comes from Ireland being called the emerald isle

So there you have it. Be lucky all.

Assuming my husband is with me, I wouldn't say anything. I'd just kiss him because actions speak louder than words anyday.

THe scene in Singin in the Rain when Gene Kelly is singing "You are my lucky star" to Debbie Reynolds. He is setting the scene with the lights and everything making it romantic.

My dearest Kathy and I have been best friends now for over 25 years. We met the first day of Grade 8 at highschool and have been firm friends every since. I met my husband when I was bridesmaid at her wedding. (he was bestman). I saw her through the sad death of her mother and she saw me through two lots of post natal depression. She is extremely smart with a very high IQ yet never speaks down to anyone. She and her husband adopted a baby boy earlier this year and my heart was filled with joy to know they could finally have a family of their own. She and her husband are Godparents to both my boys. I can tell her anything and I know we will remain friends until the end of our days.
